After not having parents/guests/siblings inside our building during the pandemic, we decided we are no longer going to have an open door policy for non-dancers. All classes (except for "It Takes Two") are drop off only. Please read our observation policies below. 

 

"IT TAKES TWO" CLASSES - Dancers ages 18 months to 3 years old (ONE ADULT REQUIRED!) 

• An adult/caretaker is required to be inside the dance studio with their dancer for this class. Siblings are not allowed.

• If your 3 year old is signed up for a 3 & 4 year old class, parents will only be permitted inside during the showcase week. If you would like to be inside with your 3 year old for all classes, please sign up for an “It Takes Two” class.

 

 

RECREATIONAL CLASSES – SHOWCASE WEEK 1ST SEMESTER

• Parents will be invited to one showcase week in studio 1st Semester.  

• January 26th – February 1st (Parents will sit inside the studio room.) 

 

 

TEAM CLASS OBSERVATION & SHOWCASE

• 1ST SEMESTER – Observation Week – November 17th - 21st for Mini, Junior, Pre-Teen, and Performance Teams (Parents will sit inside the studio room.)

• 2ND SEMESTER – Showcase Week – May 18th - 22nd for Mini, Junior, Pre-Teen, and Performance Teams (Parents will sit inside the studio room.)

• Recital @ The Saban – May 30th

 

 

PRIVATE LESSONS 

• Parents may come inside the studio hallways during their dancer’s private lessons. 

• No food or drink (except water) is permitted inside our building.

• Your teacher will come to the backdoor to get you at the start of your lesson.  

• Siblings may come when accompanied by an adult. We ask that loud activities be limited. Siblings must remain with an adult at all times. Please do not allow your child to tap/bang on the viewing window, put their face on the viewing window, etc. Children using devices must have them muted or use headphones/earbuds.  

• The front desk managers will not be available for conversations during private lessons, but are happy to answer questions via email.

• If you need to speak with your private lesson teachers, please do so at the beginning of the lesson and do not keep them after your lesson time has ended.  

• If you are not able to follow our policies, you will be emailed and asked not to enter the building.  

 

 

SUMMER CAMPS 

• Parents may come inside the studio for the end of camp Showcase on Friday. 

 

 

SUMMER INTENSIVE - TEAM DANCERS

• Parents may come inside the studio for the end of The Intensive Showcase on the final Friday of the third week.

 

 

BENEFITS OF NOT ALLOWING PARENTS/CARETAKERS/GUESTS INSIDE

• Safer environment for dancers and teachers.

• Dancers are less distracted and more focused. 

• Teachers have more time to focus on their dancers.

• Dancers will be excited to showcase what they’ve learned during the semester.
